It's only a few days to go till December when the festive season properly starts to kick off. This year, in our Countdown to Christmas we will help you prepare well in advance to ensure a stress-free festive season. Why not start this week by making your cakes and bakes? Fruit cakes (and Christmas puddings) can be made now and wrapped in foil to mature over the next month, you could also drip feed them with brandy to really develop a rich, deep flavour.
