Have you ever thought to make use of the incredible flavour and nutrition in the food we usually throw away: what about the squeezed lemons, herb stalks, fruit peelings or vegetable scraps that go into your food bin everyday?
Did you know that broccoli stalks make a delicious stir fry, soup or salad ingredient? Or that prawn shells can be fried to make an amazing crunchy snack? Perhaps you have a recipe that makes use of banana peels, parsley stalks or pumpkin seeds?
